Ok, you all know my opinion on this year’s world series. But just to kill it a LITTLE more, MSN.com posted a pretty interesting artical called “10 reasons why Phillies won the world series“. I think it just confirms that it was luck (see number 10!).

OK, I know what the answer is to the question. But here is the question that I pose to you: Is this a legitimate win for the Phillies? OR do you think that due to the suspension with the rain that the rays got screwed out of the title? Are Phillies really the better of the team?

The world series was suspended to due to the rain. I was watching the game last night when it was suspended. I woke up this morning curious as to when they were going to reschedule it and had the most difficult time trying to find it. But MSN had the story. The game will be shown on Wed. It is bottom of the 6th tied 2-2. Phillies are up 3-1 games. BRING IT HOME PHILS!

The NFL network is stating today that Condoleezza Rice, current United State Secretary of State is interested in talking with the San Francisco 49ers about taking a high-level position within the organization. One high-ranking 49ers official said last week, “If she’s interested in talking to us, I’m interested in talking to her.” Rice has told friends as recently as last week she would love to become president of an NFL team. Rice could be a perfect candidate to become the 49ers president, helping the team try to procure the new stadium they desperately need.
What is your opinion on this? Should the 49ers persue Rice for president?

So I have a paper to write, Dodger go up by a few runs, figured they had it in the bag. Oops. My mistake. Checked the internet later on only to find out that Shane Victorino decided to come from behind. So now, the phils are up 3-1. The dodgers better work up some of that magic Manny Ramierez Post Season spirit if they want a chance. I will say this though: Joe Torre with Yankees made a franchise. He left, went to LA, and now LA is in the post season. Interesting how a great coach can make a differenc.
